The Nevada City Farmers Market features more than 10 local farms, two stages of local music, artisans, children's activities, and educational demonstrations as well as prepared breakfast and lunch vendors. The Market is every Saturday morning through October on Union Street between Broad and Commercial. 8 AM - 12PM. 530-432-8734.

Is NC Really a Ghost Town?
You can learn all about Nevada City’s ghosts from tour guide Mark Lyon, who leads Nevada City Ghost Tours on Saturday evenings through October. The walking tours depart from 101 Boulder Street (the corner of Broad, Boulder and Nevada streets) at 7:30 p.m. The adventure is $10 for adults and $5 for young people 12 and under. Celtic Festival. The festival hosts 5 music stages and 6 more performance venues. Bring an instrument to numerous jam sessions and music workshops, dance in the pavilion, research your ancestry or join over 200 volunteers that make it all possible. Fairgrounds.
Celtic culture including music, jams, dance, pageantry, living history, falconry, athle tics, storytelling, bagpipers, actors, jugglers, and shopping. Nine stages and performance areas. Mainstage hosts The Elders, Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas, Niamh Parsons and Graham Dunne. Musicians bring your instruments and join jam sessions and workshops. Guilds will recreate points and places in time. Amateur and professional athletes test their strength and skill in Scottish Games. Camping available. $10 - $45. CLIMBING FOR A CAUSE
A FUNdraiser for Camp Okizu - A Camp For Children with Cancer and their Family Members. Come for the fun, a challenge and to support Camp Okizu. Participants can climb among 100ft pine trees on climbing elements 10-80ft high or take a ride on the mini zipline. The climbing elements are constructed of cables, logs, ropes, and platforms. Everyone welcome! All climbers must be 5yrs or older and anyone under 18yrs must have a parent or adult chaperone present.All safety equipment is provided.Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.
